Hello all :)

I have started this blog because I enjoy the game Everybody Edits and have played for long enough now to think that some of my experiences may be of use to other players.

I discovered Everybody Edits through this post on reddit.com and gradually became hooked. At first, it reminded me of such collaborative diversions as Drawball and Just Letters, both in its potential for group creation and griefer destruction. Over time, it has developed its own style, seeming to move away from pure art exhibition and toward structured mini-game creation. Naturally, the advent of locked rooms has helped to temporarily secure the functional integrity of such games, at least in levels wherein winners do not obtain the Edit code and proceed to ruin everything that OP has already established. These games have become so creative and personally interesting, in fact, that I no longer explore the aimless sandboxes on the left that were originally the only options available.

I hope to be of service to you all in your enjoyment of Everybody Edits and look forward to reading any questions and comments you may have about this unique game. :)
